For all those who love the natural beauty of post-ten's drone ambient music, including fans of Chihei Hatakeyama, Celer, and Hakobune.
As the author of "New Age Music Disc Guide", I will do my best to recommend this album.
The second album "Gunzo" was dedicated to my late beloved cat. The word "passion" immediately came to mind when I touched this album. It is something endlessly magnificent. .... Even without hearing the theme of this work, it seemed to come naturally to me that the artist was thinking of "somewhere other than here".
Masafumi sato is a curious person who has been crossing over the framework of current scenes and genres that have risen and fallen beyond his own roots, from the ambient music of the '10s and beyond to the electronica of the '00s, experimental music, and drone music.
His life's work is "to climb mountains. The source of his creativity lies in the sacred "mountain," which is the original landscape of the Japanese mind and life, and has had a profound influence on the Japanese homeland and people's view of life.
Mountains are a powerful source of Japanese spirituality and a symbol of the country's culture and diversity. Vast, beautiful, and complex, the mountains have a profound influence on and bless the lives of their inhabitants, and are a symbol of human life and a sacred place that plays the noble role of death and rebirth.
The free spirit and respect for nature that have been nurtured through contact with the power that resides in the sacred place called "mountain" in Japan, where this world, the other shore, and the next world intersect, may have brought to light the fundamental theme of his own creation, "the other shore" (that side, somewhere other than here.) The spirit of freedom and respect for the nature that lives there may have brought to light the "other shore" (the other side, somewhere other than here) that is the fundamental theme of his own creation.
In the endlessly vast and ethereal landscape depicted in "Group Figure," the image of his cat of days gone by, memories of his beloved cat, memories, and shadows emerge here and there. It is the trace of their lives in the past, filled with various shadows, sorrows, and fresh vitality, as well as the blues of their ongoing activities. It is a transcendent and never-ending "story of rebirth" that seems to reflect his "faith" itself. The profound and simple beauty of this song will capture the hearts of those who listen to it and not let it go.
It will never fade away, even 50 or 100 years from now, when we meet again and again in the scenery on the other side of the shore.
